Photographer’s Note
Hello to my TE friends,
Today sharing with you a simply coastal view from Whangapoua which had captured from my previous summer trip!
Whangapoua which situated at the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, will take about 4 hours drive from Auckland and getting across the Coromandel Ranges to arrive all those lovely east coast!
Hope you like it and many thanks for your time always!
Have a lovely sunday and a happy week ahead!
Cheers!!

Hi Tony, my dear friend from downunder,
I like your idea of this lonesome rock. But most of all it is the blue of the ocean that makes this shot attractive! Great light and a beautiful atmosphere. My compliments!
Have a nice sunday and see you hopefully on Tuesday!

Hello Tony,
instead of "rocking around the clock" you are "clocking around the rock"! (:-
Smooth and sharp at the same time. The smooth wet sand contrasts wonderfully with the sharp rock and sea.
Fine colours too,
Have a nice week end,

Salut Tony,
Une photo qui donne envie d'aller tremper ses pieds dans cette mer. Des couleurs très présentes mais des bleus à mon goût trop intenses. J'aime beaucoup le cadrage et la profondeur de la photo.

Hej Tony!!
What a great picture!
The sand looks like silk, soft and smooth - and the colour is golden, oldie but goldie.
The rock looks great sticking out of the sand.
And the most beautiful things are the hues of blue.
Fabulous.
Anna
Ps. Your "untouched" are great!

Hi Ho,
Simplicity can be beautiful - your image certainly captures the essence of the shoreline. Nice colors although I might have cropped away some of the sand in the lower foregroud - just seems a wee bit too much. Nice work and TFs. Gerald

Hello Tony,
A great composition with this great black rock glistening with water and rising from the sand and seemingly pointing towards the little headland. Beautiful turquoise tones in the water make a fine contrast with the wet golden sand. Excellent photo quality.

Hello Tony!
I really like it! Well, and the best reason for that is simple! The dark rock right in the middle of the image is simple, but you have composed so well with the surroundings so that you have made it special: great sharpness, management of light and natural colors!
TFS - Congratulations!

My dear friend Tony:
As always coastal landscapes of your country, show a beauty.
I like the way forms an interesting composition here, with that big stone in the middle, and half buried in sand. The bright shades, the product of the strong light, determine that your wonderful group of islands, it seems it never rains. Excellent.

Hi, Tony.
Some wonderful contrast and your trademark brilliant colors in this lovely, lonesome view!
It really amazes me, time after time, to see the amount of space & tranquility you guys are still able to enjoy in NZ. Around here : 16,000,000 people swimming in 1 bathtub...
Great shot, my dear friend. Thanks for sharing!
Have a good day, I'll see you soon.

Hello Tony,
What an imposing focal point!
That rock, appearing like a half submerged giant head, really grabs the attention!
Wonderful sharp details and amazing colours!
I love how the light is catching areas of wet sand and turning them to glass!

Hi Tony, Great use of your surroundings with the large charcoal black rock well positioned just off centre, this looks a peaceful scene although the lapping wave will create that slight sound, there is nice texture of the sand & excellent light, overall beautifully composed, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Tony,
I like this type of compos with a rock in FG... You have nice textures here and fine colors. I like the shine of this rock!
Only minor thing.. the horizon seems to be tilted towards the left side and also a bit curved due to lens distortion, but no big issue there...
Friendly greetings from Thailand

Hi Tony,
There is a small tilt on the horizon, but not that disturbing. I was attrackted by the big rock in front and the beautiful soft textures in the sand.
A well composed image, clever and made with a good eye...

Hi Tony,
Don't get me wrong: the photo is very good, as usual, I admire the compo, the clarity and the colours (those blues!) are wonderful, but I am so used that your posts are so amazing that this one is almost a disillusion because its punch isn't at the level of most of your other posts.

Hi, Tony -
We have got to get you out of New Zealand! All this beauty is getting monotonous! (OK, so I'm jealous.)
Really nice framing, and the rock is so dominant I didn't notice the island on the horizon at first. Great sky capture, too.

Hello Tony,
your old trick again: a crisp, sharp, curious object in the foreground catches the attention at first look and only then turns out that the main theme is somewhere more remote but on the way to that point the viewer is forced to discover every detail. (The problem with this way of composing is that you need many nice or interesting details. Till now you could find them for all of your pictures.)
I would say professional but profies have sometimes less phantasy than you have. Congratulations!

bellissimo scatto dove la roccia nera probabilmente d'origine lavica in primo piano da una profondità eccezionale.
