Colourful beehives near the central North Island town of Owhango. Honey is an important produce of New Zealand, especially manuka honey which is now recognised internationally as having special medical properties.

It is a beautiful scenery, made more colourful by the variety of beehive boxes.
The streach of yellow, brown and green wild grass, the simple fencing with a typical log gate, the line of trees in the background, makes for a very good composition.
The photograph has clarity and brightness. The variety of shades of 'nature' is interesting.
Perhaps a bit more contrast and saturation of colours would have made the photograph a bit more attractive, but this is absolutely my humble personal opinion.
