Ancient volcanic ranges and the alluvial floodplain created by the Waikato River have led to an area rich in flora and fauna, and a variety of habitats from wetlands to bush clad hills. New Zealand's crown jewel is the Maungatautari Ecological Island Reserve. A 47 kilometer pest proof fence protecting endangered species. And this view of Marakopa Falls is one of the many hiking sights, not far from the Reserve.

I can almost hear the roar of the water coming down this falls, I wish we have reliable waterfalls in Southern Nevada. Good pov and nice details. Well done, tfs.

As mentioned above, the sense of power in the water here is almost audible! Excellent capture of the moment with these gushing falls raining down on the moss coated rocks below. Great composition to create this with no sky visible, it can be hard to make that work, but it works here. It looks like a rainbow is trying to be born in the bottom left corner.
thanks as always

Hello, nice close up of the falls which gives us the feel of the power of the water as it crashes upon the rocks. What a great place to visit,
