Nicolas,
Your composition and POV are fine here using the waterway to lead the eye through the shot. The placement of the building is fine showing the nice expanse on the other. The lighting and colors are great, however the sharpness and DOF could be better. If you had used a higher f-stop(around f/11) you could have created a better DOF placing more of the shot in sharp focus. Always write a note for you photos telling us something about the place being photographed.

Great colors, I would have not cropped the house, it is an interesting building and this red is very inserted in your shot. There is something in the water in foreground...? I agree with asajernigan, f/2,8 is better for macros.
