Photographer's Note
Sulphur vents on White Island. I have posted a number of photos of this Island volcano, but thought another was appropriate as the has been increased activity on the Island and scientists are warning that there could be a major eruption in the near future. The last time the Island volcano erupted big time was in 2000 & scientist believe another big eruption is due.

Hi Neil,
This is a very pleasing photo, with great colors in the sulphur deposits, and nice textures in the steam clouds. A very primordial scene. The exposure is just right, with no burning out in the clouds.
Regards,
Vince
