The Princess Gate Hotel was built in 1897 and boasts 50 rooms and has been restored to its late 19th centaury elegance. It is situated in downtown Rotorua and has become a tourist attraction as well as a working hotel.

Looks a splendid place to spend a couple of nights. The elegant architecture seems very well preserved and is nicely presented in your composition. Pity for the cars, but it is a hotel after all :-) Lots of detail to e seen.

Hello Chris, This is a very attractive building with lovely balconies and beautifully framed entrances. The color is good and the white clouds provide an excellent background for this shot. This is a very inviting looking place to stay. Very well done. Regards, Roger

Well taken Chris - what a great old pub!
You've managed to get it right, even without the sun on the front. Great sky.

Good Morning Chris,
A most elegant hotel, beautifully captured with a well-judged dof. The slight angle allows us to judge the depth as well as the facade of this fine building. Although some would not appreciate the cars in the f/g, for me, this type of building is associated with, and relies on people. Therefore, the cars are an integral part.
Have a lovely w/e,
