I love my decking looking out to the Manukau with the sunrises and native bush. Looks like you have a great decking area too. I saw the dense fog this morning which looked worser than this. Silhouettes look super against the subtle blues and the sunrise. Well done

I can't imagine NZ in winter, this picture gives me a slight idea. There is a melancholic atmosphere, a pale sun and lot of dark shades, but the sky is still serene. A fine compisition.

Not an ordinary sunrise at all!
The sun is wearing an attractive, religious halo which gives it much more of an appearance of a face!
At first glance, your magnolia tree with its bird's nest, was a reindeer's head, (with quite a long neck!).

You have used excellent composition.

There is a lovely bit of mysterious mist surrounding the silhouetted trees that along with the subtle blue tones complimenting the golden descending sun makes for a very pleasing winter image. Excellent details and light to this winner.
