Sharing with you just another simple view from Piha which included the lifeguard platform from the north side of it that looking across to the Lion and Nun Rocks!

What is terrific , one more time , is the outstanding sharpness and clarity of this picture . It seems to be 3D . Have you got the best camera in the world ? :o)) . I like a lot the beautiful cloud upon the hill , too .

Hi Tony,

I really enjoy this photo. When you visit a place it is always very good to keep your eyes open for unusual photo subjects. Often it is daily life subjects or subjects that are very typical here. I guess the life guard platform you see in this picture might be very common but that they are not photographed Very well spotted my friend. As usual also a really fine composition, excellent sharpness and colours. TFS and have nice day!

Hi Tony,
The lifeguard at Piha has a most stunning view of the surrounding green hills and lovely rock outcrops.
The cool blue sky contrast brilliantly with all the lush green that is so typical of coastal New Zealand.
Looks like a beautiful sopt to spend a long summer afternoon.

Hello Tony,

It looks like my 8Gb card will not be enough to capture the wonderful scenic spots of NZ coastline. This is truly beautiful, devoting a large proportion of the framing to the land form while the sea and sky complement the scene. The clarity is outstanding, without any blow-out spot, even the grass blades and footprints on the FG sandy path is clearly seen. Well done.

Ciao Amico Mio, This shot is well composed Tony, I was at the beach a little while ago, saw similar lifeguard platforms but I was not able to capture anything as good as this. Well done, colour & detail, excellent, just one question how did you organize that cloud to be there just at the correct time.;-)

Hello Tony,

I have had a real problem accessing this - not sure where the problem lay!
Anyway, the wait was worth while!
This is a lovely combination shot showing fine details of the land, with the spiky mixed dune grasses, and the sea, with its lovely blues and rolling waves.
The details of the lifeguard platform are sharp, and lead naturally upwards to meet the fluffy clouds.

you say that it is a simple view, but I think that it is a fantastic view of a solitary, wild and natural landscape, where the only human presence is this lifeguard platform and a seated person in background that seems to be enjoying a big peace in this beautiful place.
