Photographer’s Note

Hello to all my TE friends,
This is my second posting further to my "Untouched" scenery from the coast of Anawhata at the west coast in Auckland! the first one is from the coast looking towards the inland mountain and this one is more on the beach section, I had included the human figure to show the scale on this vast section!

Another pearl in your collection!
These beaches with the dark rocks all around have a special charm. Beutiful colour of the water (high tide?) in spite of the strong light. Masterful composition with a good balance of shades and lights. I like the foam or maybe sprays you can see at the far left.
I hope it can stay untouched.

These are volcanic remains, arent they?
Almost black beaches, these gravel-like rocks - typical for NZ - fantastic POV - I love the incredible colours of the ocean!

Yes... Untouched it's what comes to my mind when I look at this gorgeous view that doesn't seem to have been conspurcated by any man ever. As usual, the compo is impeccable, as the colours and clarity. The water on the air on the left adds life to the scene.

What a fantastic wide view of this lonely beach so wonderfully protected by the volcanic rocks and lush green hills that so beautifully surround the turquoise sea.
Love the shallow tide pools that catch a striking reflection of the vivid blue sky.

This is really amazing view of Anawhata that I know it from your first post. One of remarkable part is its scale for me because your are showing us an excellent example for scaling real size of splendid rock formation with visitors. Without the visitors the rock formations are just small sized piece of rocks for me. Wide, wet sand, harsh green vegetation speaks under clear sky as usual every time. Congratulations. Cheers!

The high point of view that you used, can appreciate a good grip on the lighting and the brightness of certain areas that are on the scene.

This is a beautiful seascape view. The place looks very peaceful but the water must be freezing!!! The miniscule human figures only accentuate the huge size of the place.

Hi Tony,

These rocks in the foreground resemble volcanic stone. A very beautiful sight on this bay. I like much the effect of fog above water in background which creates a little the dream. Very pleasant luminosity. Thank you Tony.

Let me put it this way, nature is awesome, anyone can take pictures of it, may it be taken from a disposable film camera, a point & Shoot or a dslr. The thing is you got that 'eye' which many of us do have as well...ehem as I claim ;) The real thing is you do it magically! The composition and manner of presenting them here in TE are priceless. As usual you never fail to amaze us with your shots dude!!!

Hi Tony,
a lovely view in that bay and I like very much the different textures of the water surface. The opening with the rocks is a good choice for the background in green, the title of untouched really what we think seeing this.

I agree with Henk, upgrade the camera man asap, perfect composition with excellent natural colours. Would like to see a bit more detail in the rocks where the shadows are too black for my liking.
Excellent coastal shot from the West Coast once again.

Merveilleux paysage et excellente perspective. J'aime beaucoup ces rochers volcaniques que j'ai vus souvent dans les Caraïbes. Belle harmonie de couleurs entre les rochers, la mer, les montagnes et le ciel. Les personnages donnent une bonne idée du vaste paysage.
