Hello to my TE friends,
Sharing with you this setting sun image on Karekare with the two dogs having fun on the water as I was walking along the sand waiting for the last glimpse of sun from the far horizon!

Hello Tony,
another great seaside shot from you. great sky and indeed very dramatic. The silvery water painted with the incoming waves. But the most interesting of all, the ripples by the two dogs give a real impact to the shot, breaking all the monotony of that beautiful oanaorama.
Well done , well composed and well executed.

Hi Tony,
A quick reflex shot of the racing dogs frolicking along the beach. The energy and the speed generated created much action to this otherwise peaceful and quiet scene. I just wondered if a landscape format would create a stronger impact by giving more head space for the dogs to charge forward. Just visualizing for possibilities. Well done!!

Hello Tony,

Seems like two retrievers (?) have found their paradise for the day!
Doesn't look so bad for humans neither, hehehe...
The backlight makes the surface shimmer, and the surf rolling in adds to the atmosphere!

Did you get wet?
I know what dogs are like when they emerge from the sea!

Your well chosen, low pov is great for enjoying the shallow ripples and the much larger waves in the b/g. The dogs make a good focal point to fix the gaze.
I do love all the tones of blue and green that can be found.

Wonderful capture of the two canine that hit the dog lottery! It could not get any better for these hardy labador retriver frolicking on this beautiful beach with the vivid blue sky making a stunning glimmering reflection in the rolling surf.

Lovely shot, Tony!
Crisp, perfectly framed, and featuring some beautiful silvery light. And the dog on the right looks like a dead-ringer to mine!
Now, I'm in the process of wrapping up & working out all sort of stuff before leaving to the USA on vacation (August 3 to 26), so I don't think I'll be posting again until the end of August/early September. But I'll be visiting pictures left and right in whatever time I got left before departure. In any case : I'll see ya later on, that's for sure.

The difficult light is managed well, the sky has a great attraction and the water and ls waves shining to the Sun they form a magnificent composition.

A dearing photograph beacuse of the two dogs (I love dogs) and the quality of the shot is amazing, capturing the action, perfect settings both aperture and speed in one excellent result. You just had the perfect setting, the light is divine, clouds adds life to the entire scenery, perhaps you can capture a surfer that comes with those nice waves dude ;)

two dogs having fun in the great wide open of new zealand beaches? :) love the scene with the roaring waves and the light. the only minor concern i have is that, for me, the horizontal motion of your subjects and the 'great wide open' feel is kind of begging for a horizontal crop. the vertical format seems too constricting to my eye in this case.
