Photographer’s Note

Hello to my TE friends,
I am sharing another evening scene at the beach front down at Piha, the westcoast of Auckland! I had posted the Lion Rock (left) before at a closer view but this is whole view that stands in front of the beach looking from the Key-Hole rock side!

Hi Toni!
I can not get enough seeing your great shots from this beach.Good composition with these brown rocks(covered with mussels)in the foreground and the nice view at this rock and the few houses.Light and colors are great.

A coastal landscape wonderful, full of light. We note in this little scenario, the force of Mother Nature, seeing as strong against the waves hit the coast.

Beautiful colors, great depth of field. Excellent, as always.

Hi Tony,
Beautiful shot of this rock sheltered beach with the turquoise ocean and white surf matching the blue sky and white clouds. The golden curst and green vegetation on the rocks make a lovely contrast in this image full of beautiful clear colors.

Hi Tony,

Remarkable place! I like how the beach is only sparsely populated and much of the vegetation is still intact. There is plenty of good colours in this photo to set the holiday atmosphere. The placement of some FG rocks is very attractive, I like how compliments the large lion rock in the background. The lighting in this frame is very pleasant; it is bright enough to illuminate the landscape well but not so strong that it would wash the colours out. The action of the water is sensational, frozen in time with your reasonably quick shutter speed. Well done friend, a beautiful photo!

Hola Tony,
I like the frame different from the Lion Rock , does not show great amount of information of his surroundings. The waves of the sea hitting against rocks create very interesting a dynamic effect. Great depth, until the horizon and excellent colors.
The quality of the image is fantastic and the calm and relaxed atmosphere, is totally enviable. Brave friend, a great photo very well seen and verywell done!

Amazing that after so many sea scapes, you still keep posting more views so uniquely attractive for us to enjoy. This shot is very impressive with different color tones of rocks. And you have mostly chosen very good weather and blue sky for all your shots.

Hi Tony,
again this nice bay with the Lion Rock which is in each one impressing. The strong motion of the waves is good captured and the impression of drops and foam is very real. I must be careful not to get wet. The rock in front is well textured.

The light is still very beautiful and gives superb colors to this marine landscape. This rock is really impressive. The point of view is quite selected and gives a good depth to the image. This beach is splendid and makes dream. I like much the exotic side of the places, thank you Tony.
