As the day gone by at Karekare, a photo from Auckland, North Island

Photographer's Note

Hello friends,
This is another captured down at the Karekare beach at the west coast of Auckland, just next ot Piha, as we are in spring now, the day will be a little longer each day until we start our day light saving starts in the middle of october right through to summer to middle of march! so we will enjoy the warm summer breeze from this sort of beaches!

Just sharing with you and hope you can enjoy it!

Hi Ho Tony,
Not the first stretch of wild coastline I have viewed today.I like how you positioned yourself right on the division between sea and land....the waterline drawing you in. Also a clear emphasis between land and sky giving the image more depth.I like the misty spray of the surf.

Hello Tony,
Fine diagonals are created by the foam left on sand!
I like the moist in the air that adds to the atmosphere, a pleasant composition with emphasis on the beach...
The rugged cliff makes a nice balancing of the composition!

I like very much the texture of grained sand and the stripe of fuzzy water.

Hey Tony,

Your composition is very good here. A beautiful harmonious division of the horizon, the coastal shore and rock mountain. You favoured a more prominent foreground showing interest in the details of the sand as the sea softly waves into the shore creating 'foamy' shapes, something we like to see and discover around this shore. The mist that cuts across the horizon gives a very unique touch...Very Nice!

The composition is good and the foam in the sand create balance, great perspective and immense depth, you have captured a very interesting atmosphere, I believe that with some element in close-up the work would have more force and balance, good shot and thanks to share.

Nice graphism that the diagonals of the foam form in the wet sand, with a good effect of the mist and the gray sky.
The off-centre setting is good, the rocky coast aside balances the composition.

Beautiful contrasting colors between the pale blue sea and the brown beach and white foam left by the surf. The rocky cliffs make a beautiful accent toward the blue sky. Excellent sharpness and clear colors to this fine image.

A wonderfull view, with the fringe of foam left on this very dark sand, and a superb silvery aspect of the sea on the left. You seem to have lots of beautifull shore views, so I must come back when I have some time.

Hello Tony,

I like the ribbon-like texture of the bubbles left by the pounding wave on the sand here. You captured it right on time before it disappeared. The fog at the bottom of the rock creates pleasant perspective with softness in sight. Well done and best regards.

thanks for the comment. It is a nice feeling to have somebody from NZ to write in Malay.
It gives some excitements. But to see you photos are more than that. NZ, is very photogenic and with great scenes.
This one gives a very special aura, with somesort like misty.
Your ability to shoot at the right moment is the sttrength here. The lines formed by the coming waves give element of uniquness. The sky gives element of dramatic as well as the bigger waves are coming .
The clear and crisp sandy beach add power to your photo, producing a captivating one.
