Hello Tony,

You do record so well the beauty of the early morning sun and how it paints the sky with such wonderful, warm tones!
The shadows are being chased from the sea, but the trees still show a fine silhouette.

What a brilliantly vivid gold and yellow morning sky that is so wonderfully complimented by the choppy blue sea.
I love how the beautiful sky reflects on the retreating surf.

A splendid sunrise, spectacular in others.

I like the proper handling of the shadows and lights, you've given, with a depth of field you love. Good management horizon and the composition is very rich, with the silhouette of the gull on the beach.

These causing me to go now to New Zealand, I invite?

The colours of this sunrise are really beautiful and I like the contrast between the warm colours in the sky and the colder, blue hues of the water. The silhouettes are well included on the right hand side. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Tony,

Splendid of yellow colors are fantastic with their reflections on wet sand. Weave textures on dark sea surface, bird, different tones of silhouettes of mountains at horizon are fantastic with dark silhouettes of trees at right bank. Great one, congratulations.

Sunrises come too early for me, but I`d take a break from my precious sleep to see this sight.
Sorry for a short comment, it`s just something that came to mind, and would probably stick better than my usual comment, you know - sharpness, colors, etc. :)

Thanks for showing me another view of Laingholm beach, I have just signed a lease on Tane Road which is close by, do you know this area by any chance? Great tones of yellows and oranges with the ocean colour also superb. Well done on the composition.

being an old sunset fan, as you know, I can really appreciate the completely different light that a sunrise offers. I'm just usually too tired to get up and see it. ;-)
This is a wonderful composition, full of inspiring colors that makes one feel hopeful for the day ahead. The seagulls in front complete the shot. Great work.

great surrounding atmosphere of relax and tranquillity that a very suggestive and nostalgic image forms. The tonalities reflected yellow-oranges of sunset on waters are brilliant. Great depth and contrasts with the black silhouettes of the vegetation and the birds border in them of the sea.

great contrast between the golden colours and the coast but maybe the coast looses a bit on light so it seems a bit too dark
but nevertheless a very good shot

Hello Tony,
hoho, what a large scale of colours! Here we can see the opposite side of the change of day: after the first sunbeam appears the world tends to become more and more colourful. I am really thankful that you show me a moment of this process. The moment when the earth surface is yet dark, the horizon is painted with warm colours and the first (almost) white lights are reflected by the cloud. Not only nice but also interesting.

Impressive golden tones and magnificent light of the sunrise in this capture, with an excellent chromatism and a few elegant silhouettes in cross-light, which they resist with the silvered sheens in the water.
It is a very beautiful composition.

Tony, I am thinking that the word SPECTACULAR fits pretty well. Your technique is great with fine color and fabulous details but the scene you are shooting is beautiful, great job.

great the view of this sunrise wit the yellow tints to steal the show.The dark silhouette of the rock on the right make the scene even more romantic.The reflections on the sea and the little bird in the foreground, create a majestic moment.Well done.
