Hi David,
I like the colours and the subject, however I think that the HDR processing could have been done differently to make the image look a bit nicer. The shadows are nice, but the sky is a bit out of whack. Did you capture a non-overexposed photo of the sky? If so, excellent! Make sure to bring the sky out in a revision, and this photo will look spectacular! Also, have a look at the blooming between the sky and tree leaves. It's very important to bring out the sharpness in these areas.
Overall, excellent composition and colours! I'd love to see what else you can do with it!
