Photographer’s Note
It was lovely day in Auckland last Sunday, and it was almost impossible to resist to get out with my camera and take few shots. This time we went to North Shore, to enjoy picnic breakfast at the very top of North Head overlooking harbor and Auckland CBD. After accomplish our meal we went down to walk along Devonport esplanade and visited wharf down there. I always enjoy this place, it gives breathtaking view on city and nice opportunity to see old fellow “William C Daldy”. This is amazing that old steam tow is steel afloat and makes picture of modern city a little bit not too modern...

Hi Dimitri,
You're right...this is a sunny day....not a cloud in the sky. Overall the image has a very natural feel about it, and the old steam boat adds nice interest to the photo. Well captured.
Cheers Grant

Hi Dmitri
Wow it is a gorgeous day. I just love the intense green of the water and the futuristic skyline in the background. It sure has changed since my last visit 13 1/2 years ago. The cute boat contasts nicely too. Lovely colours.
Regards
Nikki
