Photographer’s Note
This is the crater of Mount Eden, an oasis of tranquility inmidth the city area of Auckland. Mount Eden is one of the bigger volcanoes in the Auckland region. It is covered by grass and eminent trees at its lower boundaries. The region of Auckland locates more than 50 volcanoes, all inactive. In the far distance we see the downtown of Auckland, wakening up. The horizon is marked by the northern seaside - the Hauraki gulf.
