I took this shot early morning in Auckland. This is the front of the world's largest private three masted schooner, Athena, which is the brainchild of software developer Jim Clark. Athena has a remarkable balance of hi-tech materials and old-world craftsmanship with a 3-masted schooner of mythical proportions. Details of the schooner as follows;

I like this view, it's a mixture of old and new dividing a slightly rippled sea from a calm pink sky. A very impressive capture and I would love to see the whole of the vessel someday. A fine image, well seen and I wish you a good Easter Sunday.

Hi, Renier. You've used the lines of the prow very well to compose your picture. The cables going up and down frame the prow very well. The water with its reflections and the glowing sky offer a good background to bring out the prow.

Hello Renier. As a layman I would say, a photographic experiment. The screen window shows the old and traditional figurehead (probably Athena) and modern High Tech. Very interesting detail of a sailing boat. In addition, the photo lives on its colors. Gladly one would see once the whole ship. Best regards, Wolfgang.

The colours and the tight crop give this a surreal quality which suits the picture well. The netting and the figurehead have good, sharp detail. I'd be interested to see a shot of the whole ship.

Good POV and PP. You enhanced the noise spots very effectively. I like the shadowed (but not completely black) boat and figure against the sunset colors. It creates a magic atmosphere.
