Photographer’s Note
I took this early morning shot last month while I was in Auckland. I always like getting up early to utilize the warm lighting from the morning sun.
The reflection in the building is the SkyCity Tower, Auckland's prominent landmark. It is part of the SkyCity complex consisting the first casino in the country, several restaurants, a large hotel and a high tech conference centre. They also use this tower for bungee jumping.

creative, renier! the vertical perspective is the right one. the reflection is clear enough. not an easy photo to take so kudos that you have taken it this interesting way... i would have used a polarizing filter to temper the glare of the sun. tfs!

hello Renier
well done, good POV, nice reflection, i guess a straight framing would have been boring, it's good like that

Hi Renier,
That reflection is quite strong. The tower os well recognizable, still a bit mysterious due to glass distortion. I wonder if this would be better if the sun was left behind the building as the glare is rather intrusive. I'd prefer a slight perspective correction too, now the tower leans a bit too much to my taste.

Bonjour Renier,
Wow, what a reflection !
Colors and exposure are perfect, only regrets are you didn't wotk on perspective correction and perhaps I'd have cut a little of the top of the picture.
Overall a very nice job,
Regards,
JB.

Hello Renier,
The reflection is very well captured and is certainly the 'star of the show'. You have managed to temper the sun's glare rather well and I like the star burst effect on the building on the left. Excellent clarity.

Bungee jumping?!?! Uhau, don't you have shots of that, Renier? Great reflection effect of the landmark on this skyscrapper. Good framing and vivid image on the façade, and nice lighting from the rising sun at left. I even like the distortion of the perspective here. Well done!

Hi Renier. Beautiful shot of reflection in early morning. Early to rise made you really wise! The reflection of the light (blurry) in the top left hand corner is somewhat negative to me. Well done. Regards.

Hello Ren,
It does pay to get up early. The reflection is pretty probably as a result of the morning light. Happy Easter. Danilo

Wow, I like that !!
The reflection is perfect and the dark light (in the buidling) makes the mood really strong. You did that perfectly.

Hi Renier. I just came back from my visit to NZ and I too tried this and that with the reflections on the glass facades of the tall buildings in Auckland. Now I know where I went wrong- afternoon shots are not the best as the contrast betwen sky and building in t=shadow is too hard to reconcile. You did a great job catching the reflection and made the SCT appear to melt in the light. Very effective. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Renier,
Beautifully shot of this modern skyscraper as its lines are soften by the early morning sun. Stunning reflection of the Auckland landmark in its glass. Wonderful note but count me out on the bungee jumping.

Hi Renier, I have chosen a photo way back into your site, this is one I’m glad I never overlooked, the captured reflection is just excellent, it fits the building perfectly, I love the way the windows break the impression up, the perfect POV, very nicely composed &, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Renier
You took this picture against the sun yet the reflection on the glass is so very clear...in fact the hues in the sky, the glare of the sun makes this different from many reflection pictures. Well done here!
Regards
Angshu
