This is a photos of Auckland taken from Mt Eden, it's a bit of a snap shot so it's not the best photo ever taken nor the best I've viewed from this site, but I like it and isn't that what photography is all about.

Hi Robert,
I like it too - nice natural sky. The clouds are the top actors and the city gives a nice background.

I have also tried taking this shot. I find challenging somethign that I think is lacking in your shot. The tower is definately the focus of the skyline, but you have lost its definition in the background land (north shore). I have found that taking the shot as the sun rises or sets makes for a side light that pulls the definition out of the background. Cheers
