Photographer’s Note
Anyone who has been to Piha beach in West Auckland will recognise this silhouette of Lion rock. Piha is a popular surfing beach and very beautiful, but also very dangerous; every year people drown here, either because they get into trouble while swimming or because they get swept off the rocks while fishing. I was waiting for sunset and thought I wasn't going to get a decent shot due to excessive cloud, then for a period of about five minutes, at just the right time, the sun shone through and I got this shot

Hi Alex!!!
This photo is wonderful!!! I like very much this "little river" going into the sea and this high rock. And what say about the clouds and this pink color?...simply fantastic!
If you don't mind I made for you a little Workshop to emphasize these particular light conditions.
Regards
Elena

Hi Alex!
what a beautiful suset picture! The rock maybe famous, but not for me, and I love to see it over the ocean, and some water running around at the bottom. Great colors and sharpness. Well dne, thank you!!
