All the culture of Micronesia on one picture (from left):
- the beautiful beaches with some birds in the trees, which you could see everywhere,
- a histocial men's house,
- the round stone under the palm tree is "stone money", the payment between the islands (remark: if you are too grabby be careful, it could happen that your boat sink),
- people on their way to church,
- mangroves and beaches,
- the reef with the channels where you could meet the manta rays Yap is famous for,
- in the background the deep rain forest on hills like little pyramids

war das jetzt Dein erstes Panorama? Kann mich keines anderen entsinnen. Gut gemacht. Interessant abgebildete Geschichte, eine Hauswand dafür zu nehmen. Danke für die passende Note dazu, gute Abbildung. Farben und Licht trotz des netten Einheitsgrau da oben gut gelungen.
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Very interesting wall, full of local culture and history. And looks good too with all pastel colours. Flat light just isn't to my taste.
Micronesia sounds just so exotic, I have to ask how did you end up there?

Even the building looks poor the fresco on it is beautiful and interesting, it has been made from good artist that have well explained with the paint the beauties of his land, well seen and done Achim, compliments.

It's not the best shot of the day, but it's so unusual to hear about Micronesia I just can stop here !
An intersting discovery then...

Good presentation of this flat building with the wall painting on it, showing the environment and life style of the natives. Light was not at its best but the soft colors are well rendered. thanks for l.version and the interesting note.

Sympa, cette fresque. J'aime l'idée du choix de format panoramique.
