Photographer’s Note

This is another capture from the paradise of Lavena, a tiny village in the island of Taveuni, Fiji archipelago. I will never forget this happy morning enjoying this beautiful place, one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited, where the movie "Return to the blue lagoon" was recorded. We needed the village's chief authorization to get there. Its a scanned photo.

Zeca,
sem duvida foto antiguissima e com aquela qualidade de escaneador. Pena que a rendicao de cores sofre um pouco com a tecnica. Pena que voce nao possuia uma maquina digital naquela epoca. As cores e a composicao estao extremamente promisoras e dando uma leve impressao do momento real.

I would like to be too in this wonderful crystal water,where the light gives the smallest detail of the small waves!The blue tones are very beautiful,I undersatand that you will never forget this place!Very good quality of the scan!

Bom dia Zeca,
Eu não sabia onde o filme havia sido feito. Só que o lugar parecia o paraiso mesmo. A foto conservou suas cores maravilhosas mesmo antiga assim.Uma beleza de trabalho e um sonho de lugar.

heh, an ultra-violet paradise... love that charged sunlight and, of course, the gem-like water.. no so sure about the darkness in the sky on the left. i'd have liked it a tad brighter for this scene, but that's me :)

uma praia muito bonita essa mesmo, e privilegiado do garoto e você. Gostei da transparência da água, mas achei a foto muito fria, talvez pelo tom azulado demais, mas de fácil correção no PS.

hi Zeca,
this is a great shot, I like a lot how you have composed it, the rocks on the left seem to shield the kid from the winds. but above all I like the crystal clear water and the amazing colour that gradually changes from purple to deep blue. the ultimate vacation photo, at least as far as I am concerned :) excellent photo, my compliments.

elparaíso en forma de playa con aguas turquesa extraordinariamente limpias y transparentes. No es extraño que recuerdes perfectamente aquel agradable día, disfrutando de este lugar tan especial.
El chico en el agua nos demuestra cómo se puede disfrutar allí, y da un buen dinamismo a la escena.

Impressive quality, good sharpness and fine colours in this well balanced composition...
If I don't recall wrongly you're using the underwater camera here, proving it works above the surface too!
