| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was my first morning in Fiji, staying at Plantation Island Resort. As said before, this was taken with the VERY BASIC 2MP camera in my early days of photography, I think I was 15 or something at the time. Post processing, using neat image software. Not perfect, I just want to show the average TE viewer the beauty of the area. This shot looks north from Malolo lailai Island (Plantation) towards the sister island of Malolo (LaiLai = 'small'). I liked the composition of the rocks and the mast reflection.

Hi Matthew,
Although the top left is a bit overexposed, i like it the way how you composed this and the way you present it to us. As you say not perfect, but the foreground with the rocks and the boats in the back create a wonderful composition.
Regards, Henk
Matthew the quality of a 2MP is evident in this image. back then quality was poor. However, the waterscape you show us here in nice. The rocks in the foreground break the monotony of the water and the yachts in the distance create focal points for the eyes to wander deeper into the image. Exposure and other technical aspects are not the greatest but the framing and composition are very good. Thanks Matt.

Hi Matthew,
I was taking a look around your gallery today and you sure have some nice images. For a 2 MP camera, the quality isn't bad at all, good effort with the post processing. I rather like the POV.

Hi Matt. A beautiful composition of this laggon in Fiji. The rocks in the foreground are very effective and the water looks irresistable for a swim. Good series. Murray.
