Photographer's Note
A revisit to a posting from 3 years ago.
The public school in Levuka was Fiji's first official school. It dates from 1881 and has a beautiful setting on the slopes of Mission Hill with a backdrop of rainforest. This is where many of Fiji's early leaders went to school as students came from all over the country. It provides a classic example of colonial architecture.
As with my previous Levuka photos the conditions were not overly bright.
This repost: the original has been rotated and cropped a little, the sky improved and a few undesirable marks taken off the roof.
Scanned from negative.
