| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This past summer, my girlfriend and I were lucky enough to travel to Fiji. This picture is taken from one of the small islands inhabited by native Fijians, rather than tourist resorts. As our boat pulled into the island, we were greated by dozens of children playing in the ocean, shouting "Bula, Bula, Bula." Bula is the greating used throughout Fiji, and we were told that Fijians believe that the more times a person says Bula, the longer their life will be. So as you can imagine, Bula was heard no matter where you were.
Also, the island in the back left of this photograph is the location of the filming of the movie "Castaway" with Tom Hanks. He wasn't so secluded afterall. |

Hi Matt,
TFS, i never knew castaway was filmed in Fiji...great looking water in this picture. A great place to take a girlfriend by the look of it. I will go there someday.
