Photographer’s Note

September 7th is the Brazilian Independence Day and this is a post to celebrate it! The starfish was captured in Fiji, but the colours are just Brazilian!

I´ve captured this starfish diving in the beautiful reefs in the wonderful Fijian island of Namenalala, North group of the Fijian paradise.
Namenalala is an little island where there are just 6 bures to 12 lucky guests. No energy! But there is nothing so nice compared to candlelights in a South Pacific Island... believe me!
So, cheers to Brazil and to Fiji, of course!

An original qnd amazing composition with incredible colors. Sub-aquatic pictures are quite scarce on TE even if they can be very interesting. You managed here to show the superb graphism of the scene with its flashing colors and I like the way you use that to celebrate the Indep. Day in your country.

Olá Zeca,
Quando vi o título fiquei pensando o que é que isto tem a ver com independência. Quando vi que a foto é de Fiji, ainda fiquei mais confuso. É mesmo preciso ler a nota!
Está bonito e bem pensado, embora em relação à bandeira do Brasil o amarelo e o verde estejam em posição trocada.
Eu gosto muito de bandeiras.

Muito boa Zeca, dá um bela papel de parede.

Gosto das cores, acredito que um pouco mais de cotraste dê mais vida as cores. Costei dos crop que usou.

A veruy wonderful composition. The arms of the starfish create perfect angles for ones eyes to explore the photo. THe colors, of course, are fantastic. Great detail and excellent framing.

Fantastic composition. The radiating pattern of the starfish and constrasting color are more dramatic against the curved green background. Well done.

Another very nice underwatershot. Where those the real colours ? Or is it partially post-processing work?
