Photographer’s Note

While on my drive back from josephine falls to cairns i stopped off breifly @ babinda to see the famous granite boulders off babinda.Babinda is a fast flowing stream that makes it way along these massive granite boulders before spilling over into big granite rock pools. On this day however the sky was too bright so i had to improvise as i did not have a grad nd filter with me,so i thought i would compose a shot looking through the tree ferns into the gorge. You can just see an up ended tree wedged between the boulders which gives you an idea of how fast the creek flows.
