Photographer’s Note
I took this shot in Coober Pedy, a very strange city in Southern Australia. Almost all the residents actually live underground due to the heat. The city's economy is based on opal mining, so they sell loads and loads of explosives at the local supermarket.
I took this shot when I went wandering by myself around the city. The car looked pretty old, but who knows - I wouldn't be surprised if it was still in use!
I used PS to clone out the date stamp in the bottom right corner. The image is scanned in from film.
