Photographer’s Note
A bluegum smoke haze drifted down the valley this autumn late afternoon, and the words of Banjo Patterson's "Waltzing Matilda" came to mind as I framed this shot of the Brockman River slowly winding its way through the Chittering Valley, notheast of Perth Western Australia.
(I've lost the original NEF file, so I've no idea of the shutter speed, f/stop, etc.)

Hi Jeff,
Very clear and crisp colours, a good shot, I feel as if I could walk right onto the river bank. Great persepctive and well balanced composition.

Hi Jeff,
Now that's what I call a landscape, beautiful capture, everything so clean and crisp.
Good looking light too. Your composition is excellent, (as usual) the river exiting bottom right of frame sets the rest of the frame perfectly.
Banjo would like this shot as well, it is so typical of the Australian bush, well done mate.
Cheers
Peter

A great Australian rural/bush shot Peter,
nicely composed and good colour. do you get trout in the streams around there? It looks like a likely spot.
regards
Ian

Hi Jeff
Nothing like the good old Australian country side, the tree on the left shows a lot of character and good detail, the composition and colours are fantastic.
