Photographer’s Note

The Great Ocean Road runs for over 200 kilometers down the rocky coast of Victoria. It passes by some spectacular coastal scenery. The road was build after the First World War to provide work for former service men and as a memorial to the dead of the war. Here, with the light fading and the angry Southern Ocean pounding shore this wild and dangerous coast looks magnificent.
