Photographer’s Note
This is a historical landmark in Sydney CBD. It still shows the correct time and although dwarfed by the modern glass towers it has a lot of Old World charm about it. Taken looking up from Spring Street pavement.

Hi Murray. This is something I don’t see every day, the tallest building around here is about 5 floors. Great POV and well framed. Great photo. Good colours and detail. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good weekend, Paul.

Hi Murray,
A strong contrast between two overlapping buildings! The old tower stands out nicely on the modern building BG.. the color tones are pleasant too and sharpness is flawless.

Hi Murray,
The point of view is showing the details and colors of the old clock tower and takes us toward the highrise building in the background. The picture is clear and precise. There is a good contrast between the colors. The subject is well frame. Have a nice day.

Hi Murray, this is a favourite landmark of mine. It makes for a great shot from different angles. I like this one with the tower behind it. Positioning is very good, with great light on the shot. I did some research on this tower once. It is actually part of the old Lands Department building (with some very ornate sculptures built into the outer walls). The height of this tower was once established as the maximum height allowed in Sydney. This has obviously changed a bit over time.
Thanks, John
