Photographer’s Note

When you leave the Cairns area heading north Ellis Beach is the first beach that you come to after rounding a headland. It is a long quiet stretch of beach with the hills and the beach disappearing together in the distance. The road is squeezed onto a narrow strip of flat land below the steep rain forest covered hills. The couple of people have most of the beach to themselves.
