Photographer’s Note
Rippon Lea is the last of Australia’s great privately owned 19th century suburban estates. Designed and built 1868 in the Romanesque style, the mansion is surrounded by a beautifully maintained original Victorian Pleasure garden.
The spacious mansion retains much of the lavish Victorian decoration from its original owners, the Sargood family but today reflects the elegance of the era 'Between the Wars' when the Jones family played host to Melbourne’s most fashionable society.
The extensive gardens are of international significance and include a lake with islands, bridges and waterfalls, an orchard and a state of the art 19th century conservatory and grand fernery. It was the creation of Sir Frederick Sargood and his head Gardener, Adam Anderson and encapsulates the atmosphere of Victorian England.
this is a scan of the ceiling of one of the rooms. It has been cleaned using Neat Image.

This photo has a lot of wonderful interconnecting shapes that make it pleasing to look at. The comments are helpful also. I've not mastered the "neat image" program yet. This photo is very clear and sharp, nice colors also.
