Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken below a suspended cable chair lift.The chairlift with dangling legs was purposely juxtapose in the middle of the photo with the sky as the background to show an effect of suspended animation.The sky condition was perfect, with no clouds, and it gave a sense of height,where one could possibly predict the consequenses if ever the chair lift would fall!!

Welcome to TE, Su! Nice angle you have here, which really accentuates the height. I like the way you've taken the wires into the top left corner of the shot. The sky is gorgeous but I think overall the shot is too dark - if you lightened it we'd see more detail. We've had a couple of chairlift accidents in Melbourne in recent years so I know what you mean about the risks!
