Photographer’s Note

The Rocks area of Sydney is the site of the earliest white settlement in Australia.Today it is a quaint tourist area with narrow side streets and souvenir shops, but at weekend it become the site site for a busy market , selling arts and handicrafts of all kinds. It is also the place where the weird and wonderful can strut their stuff. Punks and old hippies abound here. This young lady seems to want to make a bold statement about herself, but that is how it is here on a Sunday morning, anything goes.

An uncommon and not everyday portrait - but a photo full of joy of life. What better can a picture show!? I do not like these "attachments" at all - but this lady seems to be very happy with it. Well, then it's ok!

The tight framing is working well for this friendly portrait with fine DOF allowing to see nicely the details. I like her blue/purple hair color which stands out well against the dark BG.

It is a portrait achieved! Kevin! The individual is free to express what wants, But a lot of exaggerations and extremities is challenge in! I believe that judge the picture as photo and I like and I agree that it is difficult you present or you take without the consent his one photo of person that stands opposite and does not want him.

A modern portrait with the piercings and tatoes, the blue really is an attention grabber, which I guess is the idea.

Une photo qu'il ne fallait pas présenter en noir et blanc ! ;o) sous peine de perdre cette chevelure particulièrement colorée. En tout cas, vous avez su, cher Kevin, faire sourire la "punk" !
C'est un autre monde ! j'avoue rester dans les normes (et puis, après tout, n'est-ce pas un bon moyen de se faire remarquer pour exister, vaste sujet) !

LOL not exactly my type of woman but for sure a highly colorful photo subject, having a dark background helps her stand out and compensates for not using a narrow DoF.
