Photographer’s Note
Lord Howe Island is off the coast of NSW. The whole island is a national park and numbers of visitors are strictly limited. For many years access was by a flying boat that took off from Sydney harbour and landed in this lagoon.
The island is truly beautiful and has good walking, climbing (the peaks in the background), swimming and fishing. There aren't many cars so the place is very peaceful.
Scanned from negative.

Excellent scan quality, and what a view, I once saw a photo taken from one of those peaks which made me want to go there, I wish I had gone there, the airfare is extremely expensive considering the duration of the flight. Next time rotate your scans so the horizon is straight, here the boats are in danger of sliding out of the left edge.

I have been told that it is a wonderful place to visit and I am planning a trip for next summer. Your photo just shows the beauty of the island. However it is a pity you did not correct the tilt. Otherwise, it is a nice picture. I have done a quick WS and I hope you like it.
