I hestitated on my description for this seagull on the beach. She is handicapped but obviously not disabled. With one leg only she can still hop around pretty well looking for food, and of course she can still fly like others. Surely no aid is needed.
Thanks for viewing.

As what I believe, the 300mm focal gives very nice sharpness under bright light for this nicely cropped capture of bird of single leg, which makes a good subject that we seldom find. I would wonder what happen to the lost leg but well, the bird cannot tell.
As I see the light is strong and the bird is standing on water, there appears to have good reflection, shown just a little here. I would also wonder if it will be nice to capture the bird with its own reflection by lowering the camera and crop the top space, but that is just me, if I were to shoot more than 1 frame.

Hello Alfred. Nice shot at this pitiful one legged bird. the light on the plumage is gorgeous with super sharp image around the head. Closing down on birds in the last two shots and should consider an account in TL or TN :-). Thanks for sharing and best regards. Jusni
Hi Alfred, This seagull having lost part of it's leg is interesting & one wonders how maybe fish bit it off but we will never know. This shot has excellent detail, colour & light, especially where the sunlight hits. Disabled maybe, Handicapped No. Looks strong & healthy.
Well done
Thanks
