Back to Valla Beach. Morning shot and the surfers were out there already. You ca just make out a head or two under the dark cloud. I loved this beach for its ever changing visage. it was a challenge to bring together the very bright light in places and the darker parts of the scene.

Hi Klaudio
Where do begin and end the sky and the sea, they are mixed together so well that one will lose its sense of orientation.
A real pleasure to look at.

Colors and light are well managed.
Have a good day
Charles

Zdravo Klaudio
Cist jasan snimak koji bih ja mozda nazvao "blue planet" ali to je nevazno..lepo je videti i svt ispod oblaka...
All best my friend,Bratislav

Hi Kladio,

What a beautiful photo and a beautiful beach!

Best wishes

Well balanced lighting Klaudio, a typical Aussie beach with its full beauty. I would have preferred to have the horizon shifted so it is not in the middle of the photo and a dark coloured frame would have helped the details standout. thanks

Hi Klaudio, very nicely done. I like the blending of your light and shadow in this shot, and I like those blues. Who says the blues have to make you sad. They sure don't in this shot. The composition is excellent with that large cloud, and all of it nicely captured in the reflections, just this side of the sand. All of this is very nicely wrapped up in that great neutral frame of yours. Very nice.

Thanks, John

Zdravo Klaudio,

prikazao si nam lepu bajku o oblacima i vodi. Dominantni oblak pruža i zanimljivu senku. Sve pohvale i lepe želje za tebe i tvoje.

Hi Klaudio .
A beautiful scenery - and serene all at the same time .
I like the reflections very much - and the bit of sand and stranded kelp in the lower left corner . I think the lower left quarter of your photo could make another great photo !!
Kindest regards
Dorte.

Hi Klaudio
Well done with the exposure or perhaps the PP to get an even light. The horizon in the middle works well here.
Phil

Hello Klaudio,

This is a spectacular beach scene under a ponderous sky, with the wet sand glistening. Of course, you shot this on the East Coast of Australia, but a few years ago, I made looked carefully at the globe. The point diametrically opposite us here in Virginia (located on the East Coast of the United States) is point 800 miles SW of Perth. I've done simple calculations for my students, that if one were to drill a hole through the center of the earth, and throw something (or someone useless) into the hole, it would take it 44 minutes to reach Perth, then it would immediately fall back, making a full period in 88 minutes. That is the same time as a low-earth orbit takes. (Gravitation inside the earth acts like a spring force obeying Hooke's Law.) I must show my students how beautiful the point diametrically opposite them looks like.

Warm regards,

Bulent

This is a good place for excellent sky reflections, you have well caught one of them, compliments Klaudio.

Wow... I love that. It reminds me of some beaches in Brittany where I as trying to catch similar mix of fantastic clouds and reflections on the thin layer of water on the sand. Your result is way beyond all I was able to get. All my congratulations.

I can well imagine how difficult it was to get the exposure right as it seems you were shooting almost directly into the sun, if the brightness at the top of the image is a clue. That's where a ND grad would come in useful, but you managed very well without one. It's a simple, but very effective and appealing composition with the stunning reflections in the wet sand. Good work
