[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During a trip to Byron Bay we visited the Cape Byron Lighthouse, the views from the area are spectacular. The photo has been sharpened and reduced in size.

"Constructed of prefabricated concrete blocks in 1901, the Cape Byron Lighthouse stands on the most easterly point of the Australian mainland and is Australia's most easterly lighthouse."

Hi Jeanne, I'm a sucker for a lighthouse, and this is a good one. I like the way you've captured the walkway snaking it's way up to the lighthouse. I thought of maybe offsetting the lighthouse so it wasn't in the centre, but I see now that you composed to capture the walkway, so that makes sense. Colour is good and you have good detail in both the highlight and shadow regions of the shot. To be honest I was surprised it looked as good as it did though as you saved with 66K. Shots will look better when presented at a higher quality level. We can save up to 200K. I would try to use it.

Thanks, John
