I'm always chasing for that good long exposure waterfall shot, i'd hoped i'd got here but the glimpse of sky is totally over exposed.... need advice.

What should i have done to get this shot to have worked.......

Hi Vickie,
the view is awesome and the exposure of the waterfall very good. About the over exposed sky you had nothing to do then but perhaps to wait for better conditions or choosing a different hour of capturing. A photoshop program could have done something but I never like great changes to photos. Nevertheless, I really like the place and you work here.
Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes,
Athanasios.

Hello Vicki,

Nice idea with a long exposure. You took the shot on an overcast day. The only really solution in my ming would have been to create an HDR image with a number of shots taken using bracketing.

Its still quite pleasant to look at.

Kamran
