Photographer’s Note
A picturesque scene taken from Barney View Road, Rathdowney. The mountain on the distant left is Mt Lindesay and the mountain on the right is Mt Barney. I enjoy drives through this area. The countryside is beautiful there.

Hello Claudia,
I am quite attached to this area, as you would know. Seeing Mt. Barney rise above the surrounding plain is an awe inspiring sight. I like the wide view you present us with here, it is quite difficult to get both peaks in the same shot from this angle. The colours and exposure in the lower 2/3 of the photo is very good, perhaps the clouds over Barney are a little OE, but the setting remains beautiful. This area is best photographed in the early morning after dawn, when fog fills the valley floor and the peaks are warmly lit with the morning light. TFS! Happy Easter.
