Photographer’s Note
This is a typical fine weekend day for many who enjoy getting out on the calm waters of Canada Bay. This inlet is circled by a 7 km wallking track where litterally hundreds get out for a walk most weekends. It takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes for one lap and the scenery is as good as any in this city.

Hi Murray,
A very appealing place you show us here. The many inlets and coves within Port Jackson are a treasure of the city of Sydney. I like the metallic shimmer of the water and the relaxed motion of the paddle boat. Coincidentally I like the way this humble, low budget boat compares with the giant pleasure-cruiser behind it. I think more background would have been an advantage here, but it might have taken the focus away from the intended subjects. TFS!

Hi Murray,
A nice image of the boats, the person rowing in the small is giving an idea of measurement of the other boats. The point of view is giving depth to the photo. A nice place to be to enjoy the day. The photo is clear and precise. Have a nice day.

Hi Murray, good shot of this guy rowing his dory on the cove, you even got a rower in his scull which is a common sight here as well.
It always seemed to me to be a little strange how these older guys (and they're all old if they own these boats) could put in so much effort rowing these little dories to get out to their large expensive boats. I've seen some of these guys out there after dark (when the sailing is done) coming back to shore in these dories across some incredibly rough water. Seeing the boats moored out on the water is nice (picturesque) but I'm really surprised we don't have more marinas here, with the boats properly secured, with full land access there. Ah well, another of life's mysteries that will go unexplained. Great shot, good sharp detail with great colour. And thanks for giving me the opportunity to vent.
Thanks, John

Hi Murray
Good refklections with superb colour & sharpness. A nice juxtapositioning, of the frail fg dinghy, against the larger bg boats. Tfs!
