If you travel along major interstate roads in Australia a very common site is 'Ruins'. Ruined huts, houses, windmills.
Between Kaniva and Nhill (If memory serves me right) there was this ruined windmill that was standing in the middle of 'Nowhere'. It was rusty and old, but gave me a good composition with its withered colors against the deep blue sky.

I really is a pity that farms and towns have to be abandoned in this way, but as we make advances around the world I guess something will always have to be abandoned.
I really like the POV for this photo. It might only show the rusty old windmill, but I feel it depicts a great detail of the life that once was here.
Exposure looks very good, the saturation really brings out a deep lively blue. A lively blue that is in great contrast to the withered and rusty colour of the windmill.

Hi Kamran,
Windmills are excellent subjects to photograph in the Australian outback. I suppose I take the sight of them for granted as I have never photographed one before intentionally. Next time I see one I will have to stop and shoot a few angles. This close-up on the blades looks great; made more spectacular with the help of the rich sky colour. The rusty brown/red of the weathered iron contrasts well - I think it would look equally attractive as a black and white photo. Well done!
