Photographer’s Note
It is all about the lens. I just saved up enough to buy the canon ef 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6l usm lens and it has opened up a new world of capturing the moment for me and I wished that I bought it 5 years ago. Every photo is perfect even with free hand photo shooting.
take care Richard.

Hi Richard,
Excellent shot! You've captured the power and beauty of the wave very nicely. I like the turquoise colour of the water, which contrasts very nicely with the brown rocks in the foreground. The details are also superb, capturing the texture of the water as well as those magnificent sprays.
Well captured, and have fun with your lens!

You are the master of the waves, and the new lens seems to make the shots even better (although I never would have thought that was possible!). Great close in view, which gives us a different perspective. Nice work!
