Mount Dandenong sits comfortably on the edge of the Dandenong Ranges to the east of Melbourne, keeping a watchful eye on Melbourne.

From on top of the Mountain at SkyHigh, you can have a panoramic view of Melbourne and the Port Philip bay. Occasionally you can see storm systems developing if you are lucky. On this day Nature was blowing gigantic clouds over the sky and making weird shapes.

This massive cloud was conveniently covering the sky and had divided the horizon into distinct blue and amber haze.

The water you can see at the bottom of the frame if 'Port Phillip Bay' and if you look closely to the right bottom of the frame, you can see the Melbourne CBD sky scrapers which seem like 'Lego Buildings' in comparison to the enormous cloud.

This picture is one of my favourites. What do you think?

Hi Kamran. I live up in the hills and I haven't had the luck you experienced here. Dramatic sky, moody weather and regardless of the turmoil in the sky, you got a lovely view of the sea and of the city. Bravo. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Camran Channa,
Very special photo. Interesting bicolor sky. Good framing: you left a small layer on the bottom, essential to keep feeling with the ground,
Regards Henk

Kamran,

This is PERFECTION.
Brings back memories of the incredible sunsets I saw around King's Cannyon and Uluru.

TFS, regards

Hi Kamran,

This is awesome, the change between the blue sky and the amber horizon is so nice. The sunrays gave this picture the extra's! Thanks for sharing
