It was miserable weather, raining on and off, so the sky is dull and the light isn't great, but I couldn't resist this paddock full of daffodils (or it could be jonquils, I couldn't be sure from that distance). Somewhere near Healesville.

Well Jennifer this is a great one.
Very good lines in the composition, great colours. Yes I like it a lot. This is good, very good job

très jolie photo. j'aime beaucoup votre composition et la bande jaune éclatant est absolument superbe, elle donne la vitalité à ce paysage tranquille. c'est très bien vu, félicitations.

Despite of bad weather, a very good shot with great composition.

Hi Jennifer,

In Portugal it's the oposite, we have 44ºC.. it's summer. About your photo, i like this landscape, the green and yellow lines are excelent.

Well done

But ,I like this kind of weather,Jennifer!:)
You composed the natural parts with difference colors in a basic way & great.
simple but great & beautiful work you did.

You know,Jennifer!I think that sometimes the simplicity is ART,the simplicity which come from a deep vision with a careful eyes.

You did great,thanks for sharing.

Very well composed & lit. The horizontal division of the image into 1/3's by the blue mts & yellow flowers is classic art.

Well, given the miserable weather this turned out a nicely colorful and tranquil shot, Jennifer. I like the yellow diagonal made by the flowers, and the lines of the field in front and behind. The effect of the mountain ranges disappearing into the haze isn't bad either ;-)

Why, Jennifer? Bad weather can be also one good allied in photograph. The proof: here the yellow jonquils (one is going to say that these are jonquils...:-)) offer a beautiful contrasts with the landscape darkened by bad weather. The framing is well seen : With this yellow diagonal . I also like the composition balance offered by proportions between sky, mountains, forests, and fields.
A great Work.

Your composition has made something quite static and ordinary into something highly visual and dynamic. It's good that you've managed to preserve some of the clouds in the overcast sky but I'm not not a big fan of the blown out section to the right; would have been nice if you'd been able to hold more of the sky. Excellent landscape though.

Hi Jennifer, this is a loevly coloured field, and you, re right about the sky and the light, but the colours of the daffodils and the libes of the hills behind it, make it a very nice pic after all.

Bravo/jr

Nice to see this kind of photo taken in July - could be a Danish landscape in April - if it wasn't for the mountains -
And the rainy weather surely something real Danish :-)

Thanks Jennifer

Excellent composition, beautiful landscape, could have been taken in Denmark as vell.

Excellent light and contrast, beautiful color, i do like the line, speciel the raps field in yellow.

Jennifer, what a nice portfolio, images of Australia I didn't imagine somehow. You are one popular and prolific member of TE!
The simplicity of this one appeals to me, the dull weather (I can relate to that!) really makes the yellow flowers stand out, like a spearhead through the scene. I like too how it compliments the line of hills and gives depth and life to the scene. Oh, and the Everglades is worth the trip but I guess you've got plenty of swamp down under? Bring industrial strength repellant, eucalyptus, tea tree, put them all on, maybe one will work! Ian

a very beautifully composed image. The yellow daffodils are making this work very well. I am not sure it would be as nice with another light. Very nice.
