[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A friend and I visited the Second Valley on the Fleurieu Peninsula last week. I have never been to Second Valley before but I discovered a beautiful area. Behind were I took this image are some very old unused boat sheds hence the old rusty rails in the foreground. The weather this day was superb; lovely and warm for a Winter's day. Apparently we missed out on seeing some seals that were sunbaking just behind the boat sheds. We did scale some rocky outcrops but failed to find them never mind, next time.

Second Valley has steep coastal cliffs, old boat sheds and fascinating geological formations help make Second Valley unforgettable. The area's protected waters provide scuba divers with memorable experiences as they encounter fur seals and leafy seadragons.

Located 91 kilometres south of Adelaide, Second Valley is divided into two parts - the old mill on the main road and, down the valley to the sea, a tiny coastal port reminiscent of a Cornish fishing village.

A very nice Australian landscape picture. I never been to that area, south of Adelaide. Well done.

Hi Debbie,
Nice view on that bay with soft light and colors, sharp details and good framing... the slight darkness adds to the atmosphere,IMO

Hello Debbie,
A simple but very effective landscape shot with good framing and making use of the pier as a focal point. Good tones and sharpness.
