I know I have included a lot of sky in this image but my purpose was to show as much of the sun's ray's as possible. It was such a lovely sight as it changed rapidly in such a short amount of time.

Bluff Summit View, Victor Harbor, South Australia – The 360 degree view from the summit of The Bluff is one of Victor Harbor's most popular natural attractions. The Bluff, or Rosetta Head, rises 150m above sea level. It was used as a lookout point to spot whales in days gone by and still is today. Access to the summit is via a short trail from the carpark. The first stage is a strenuous but manageable climb for most. The second stage is more arduous. Views from all vantage points, including the carpark, where this image was taken from are captivating.

The Bluff
(Rosetta Head)

This prominent headland is formed of granite. The granite originated when magma was squeezed up from deep in the continental crust during the mountain building episode which occurred about 500 million years ago. This is known because sediments left by the ice age, which occurred at that time, rest immediately on top of it, and boulders of granite were carried, by the ice, northwards. The smooth rounded profile of the Bluff is attributed to the erosive action of this ice sheet.

Hi Debbie
You did well to include a lot of sky! That is the right amount of it in this case! Superb clarity and luminosity with wonderful light and colors... the clouds are really beautiful! I like the silhouetted skyline and the sunrays fanning in the sky

Hey, nice shot Debbie. The shape of the clouds and reddish color are wonderful.A brilliant study. Congratulations.

Hi Debbie. The colours of the light and the sky are very good. The amount of sky enhances the light coming from the sunset and the different shades. Good sharpness and exposure to compose this excellent image. Thanks Debbie.

Hello Debbie,
A superb sunset beautifully captured. I love the cloud formation and the fanning out of the sun's rays across the image; the tones are gorgeous. Excellent work.

Hi Debbie,
lovely sky. The cloud formation is just like being arranged for this light. The bottom line of silhouettes is the right addition.

Hello Debbie,
Some times the humidity or pollution or whatever it is creates a play of light like this!
The dotted clouds with golden linings add nicely to the scenery, a wonderful evening atmosphere!
