Photographer’s Note

The lookout at "The Horn", Mount Buffalo National Park.

I reckon this was about ten minutes before sunset, well and truly the "golden hour" as this lovely autumnal day finished in the high country. The view stretched away forever.

Simon this is a very good shot of tis structure. The lookout has truly a beautiful view. You caught this scene at the right moment as the low light give a nice, warm mood to the scene. Well composed image. Thanks Simon.

Hi Simon, 99 out of 100 people would have stepped into that lookout to take the picture of those hills. You chose to include the lookout in the shot, and it adds a lot to the composition. Now it is a shot of a great structure with fantastic lighting, texture and colour with an amazing backdrop to boot. Very nicely done.
