This is the second photo I am posting of the Quadrangle, the oldest and still the main building of the University of Sydney.
This photo shows the inner court and the western part of the builing. Unfortunately the Jacaranda in the left corner of the building was not flowering yet.
More informaton about the history of the building can be found in the note of the first photo, The Quadrangle.
The lawn had just been renovated hence the white tape around it.

The sky is maybe a little bit too much contrasted, but I like this architecture with gold stones... And to be honest, I did not imagine there was such an old building in Sydney !... Thanks.

prachtig paleis lijkt het wel Harko,
een zeer fraai gebouw, mooi in beeld gebracht, het lijnen spel is fraai en de contrast is good en de lage horizon is fraai, goed foto werk hier. fijne dag

Good composition, nice brown colour nuances. The very straight forward wide-angled view point underscores the formal and symmetrical architecture of this building. With the green as a blanket in between, there is no doubt, this is purely British design.
